Fortune Turkey Magazine has included OYTAŞ among the first 10 companies in Profitability (Net Profit/Total of Actives) and Active Turnover listings of "Fortune 500" for 2008.

OYTAŞ was listed on 5th at Profitability (Net Profit/Total of Actives), 8th at Active Turnover, 18th at Equity Profitability and settled at the top of the list at Net profit, Volume of Sales per Employee, Export and Turnover. In the evaluations on Foreign Trade took the 1st row in Profitability, 2nd in Net Profit and Equity Profitability, 10th in Turnover bases and 12th in Exportation.  

While the exportation to the North Africa Countries, especially to Egypt, is increasing the stagnation that was monitored in the Russian market for the last year has left its place to a slow progress.

As the conditions of the domestic market are getting heavier, our sector has headed towards exportation. Under such conditions, OYTAŞ has designated the countries who wish to enliven the economies in the global crisis period as targets and raised the exportations to the North African countries, especially to Egypt. During the last year some signs of action is started to be noticed in the Russian market, which was almost at standstill position; so, works on this market are accelerated.
